Van Patten is a 27 hole layout located midway between Albany and Saratoga Springs in Clifton Park.

The golf course is situated on a rolling, forested track of land with homesites adjoining a few holes, but not intrusive. The fairways are defined by massive, mature hardwoods intersected on several fairways by the Cooley Kill stream feeding into a couple of lakes. It was originally designed by Armand Farina, but has been renovated by Rees Jones. The Red/White combination plays to 6,583 yards off the back tees, 70.6/125, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
