Waterlefe is along the Manatee River on the east side of Bradenton east of I-75 off Rt 64.

The layout features a few holes on the River which are most scenic and natural while the balance run through an upscale, residential community. It's known locally as water-grief since there's water in play on all but three holes which along with a generous amount of sand bunkers provides for a target layout. From the back tees it's 6,897 yards, par 72, 73.8/141, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Ted McAnlis in 2000.
