Aldeen is an upscale, municipal golf course located on the northeast side of Rockford off I-90 at the State Street exit to the north.

The golf course's fairways are defined by old growth, hardwood trees with Keith Creek traversing the northern third of the layout. The fairways are generally wide and forgiving, but with multiple water hazards and sand bunkers of varying shapes and sizes lurking along the landing zones and greens. The course plays to 7,131 yards, 74.7/139, course/slope ratings from the tips but with four shorter sets of tees, designed by Dick Nugent.
