Timber Point Golf Course is east of Rockford in Poplar Grove on the north side of Belvedere partially within a residential community.

The layout is mostly a parkland design along tree lined fairways although a few holes offer wide open, link-style characteristics with tall prairie grasses at the margins. There's a variety of conventional, sculptured sand bunkers in addition to numerous long, waste areas and multiple ponds and streams in play. There's five sets of tees overall from 4,955 yards to 7,077 yards at the tips with the middle, white tees at 6,057 yards,69.8/120, course/slope ratings, designed by Mike Schulz.
