The Blackstone Golf Club is halfway between Elgin and Rockford in Marengo off I-90 at the US 20 exit then west a few miles to the golf course.

The routing is a mix of open, links-style and tree lined fairways over relatively level terrain within a residential community. There's multiple water hazards or wetlands in play on 13 holes with an array of shapes and sizes of sand traps at the landing areas and guarding the greens. It's a Bob Lohmann design from 2006 with five sets of tees and plays to 6,210 yards from the middle, Gold tees, 70.4/134 course/slope ratings.
