The Ledges is a Winnebago County Forest Preserve Golf Course located just off I-39 between Rockford and Beloit. It is in a natural setting with a residential community along the exterior holes, which are blocked by trees.

The layout is a parkland design over a slightly rolling tract of forested land with water hazards in play on 10 holes and well-bunkered fairways and greens. There are three sets of tees overall, with the middle white tees playing to 6,304 yards, 70.5/128, and course/slope ratings.
