Arcadia Bluffs is 10 miles north of Manistee on the Lake Michigan shoreline with two 18-hole golf courses.
From the onset, it's apparent the Bluffs isn’t usual golf in Northern Michigan, with land forms and settings reminiscent of Ireland or Scotland as the golf course climbs over a 245-acre tract of rolling terrain along 3,100 feet of Lake Michigan shoreline. There are 50 sod-walled sand bunkers along the broad fairways bordered by native tall grasses leading to massive green complexes. It features substantial elevation change throughout with each hole unique and isolated on land that was barely touched in the design. The course was designed by Warren Henderson and Rick Smith and plays to 7,300 yards from the tips, 75.4/147, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
The South Course is over an equally large 311-acre tract of land located one mile south of the Bluffs with two distinct nine-hole loops constantly changing direction. It's a mostly treeless landscape and open to the constant wind off the Lake. It features rectangular tees with 90-degree corners, broad, firm, and fast fairways, flat-bottomed traps with steep faces, and massive, edged green complexes. There are five sets of tees from 5,261 yards to 7,412 yards at the tips, designed by Dan Fry.
In July 2025, the Dozen opened. It consists of two, 6-hole loops, The North and The South, each with three par 3’s and three par 4’s. Measuring a total of 3,063 yards from the back tees, it features generous landing areas, large, subtle green complexes, and strategic bunker placements.
