Blue Heron Pines is 20 minutes north of Atlantic City, just off the White Horse Pike in Egg Harbor City.

The golf course is partially within a residential development along tree-lined fairways over slightly rolling terrain. Multiple sandy waste areas and conventional sand bunkers guard the fairways and greens, and seven ponds or small lakes are in play. It was designed by Stephen Kay in 1993 and plays to 6,619 yards from the tips, 71.5/133 course/slope ratings, and three shorter tee boxes.
