The golf course at Carroll Valley is in a scenic setting surrounded by mountains at the base of the ski areas located southwest of Gettysburg toward Waynesboro.

The layout is a parkland style design winding through a valley along tree lined fairways a number of which are bordered by Toms Creek with sand bunkers primarily greenside. It's a course management drill to avoid the hazards and a challenging layout overall if you're wide off the tee. It's 6,688 yards, 72.3/128, course/slope ratings from the back tees with three shorter tees, designed by Ault Clark.
