Gettysburg National golf course is just outside Gettysburg to the southwest in the foothills of the Catoctin Mountain Range.

The layout is a parkland style design along tree lined fairways in a natural setting without much in the way of homes or development. In terms of hazards, there's Muddy Run traversing from north to south in addition to multiple ponds, and sand bunkers bordering the fairways and guarding the greens. It was designed by Ault Clark and plays to 6,420 yards, 71.2/128, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tee boxes.
