Mansion Ridge is 1 1 /2 hours north of the city off I-87 at the Route 17 exit on the south side of Monroe in the Hudson Valley and the foothills of the Catskill Mountains.

The layout climbs over hilly and heavily forested land in a stunning setting save for the homes along numerous fairways. There's several forced carries over natural areas and ravines as the course traverses rolling, and sloping fairways with several water features and an abundance of sand bunkers. It's a Jack Nicklaus design of 6,889 yards, 74.9/145, course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tee boxes.
