Stony Ford is a municipal golf course in Montgomery halfway between Middletown and Newburgh, just off I-84, bordering the Wallkill River to the east.

The golf course has a traditional layout, lumbering along tree-lined fairways over slightly rolling terrain. There are numerous doglegs, an assortment of ponds and wetlands, and well-bunkered fairways and greens. It was designed by Hal Purdy in the 1970s, and from the middle tees plays to 6,182 yards, 70.3/124 course and slope ratings.
