Monroe Country Club is a 9 hole golf course located about an hour out of the city just west of Harriman State Park and Peekskill.

The course is a traditional parkland style design along tree lined fairways and well bunkered, modest greens where course management and a strong short game are critical to scoring. The layout was laid into the existing rolling contours of the terrain with Creegan's Creek coming into play on four holes. There's two sets of tees with the back tees playing to 5,428 yards, 67.6/120, course/slope ratings for 18 holes, a classic design by the master William S Flynn in the early 1920s.
