Wallkill is a municipal golf course about 70 miles north of the City just outside Middletown off Rt 17 in the Hudson Valley.

The golf course is a parkland layout traversing rolling terrain over ridges through isolated oak, hemlock, and shagbark hickory tree lined fairways with numerous doglegs. There's five holes encircling a large lake and sand bunkers defending most of the greens and the occasional fairway. The course was designed by Steve Esposito, and from the blue tees it's 6,470 yards, 72.5/125, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
