Graeagle is an hour north of Truckee located on the middle fork of the Feather River in the high Sierras and the Mohawk Valley.

Most of the course is laid out over a flat meadowland bordering and crossing the River while the last four holes are parkland style through pine tree lined fairways over modest elevation change. The fifth hole features a stunning view of six mountain peaks in the area including Mt. Washington, Elwell, Penman, Eureka, Mills, and Haskel. The golf course's length is 6,725 yards, par 72, 71.2/124, course/slope ratings from the back tees with two shorter tees, designed by Ellis Van Groder in 1968.
