Grizzly Ranch is 45 minutes northwest of Reno southeast of Lake Davis in Portola off the Feather River Highway to the north.

The golf course ambles through a stunning setting in the Sierra's foothills through Ponderosa lined, rolling fairways along unique and isolated holes. The fairways are open off the tee as the course moves along meadows, wetlands, and sloping hills leading to greens canted into hillsides or bordered by prairie grasses. There's five sets of tees from 5,374 to 7,411 yards, from the Whites it's 6,024 yards, 69.0/120, course/slope ratings, designed by Bob Cupp.
