Oak Island Golf Club is 30 minutes south of Wilmington in Caswell Beach.

The course is within a real estate development 300 yards off the Atlantic and is subject to the constant winds. It's a parkland style design along tree lined fairways over level land with sand bunkers positioned along the fairways and greens and water in play on half the holes. From the tips the course plays to, 6,720 yards, 73.1/131, course/slope ratings with three shorter sets of tees, designed by George Cobb.
