Carolina National is a 27-hole course midway between Wilmington and Myrtle Beach in Bolivia, near the intersection of US 17 and SC 211.

The golf course is within a residential development along tree-lined fairways bordered by wetlands and marshes of the Lockwood Folly River in an Audubon Certified Sanctuary with an assortment of wildlife. Yardages, course/slope ratings for the various rotations from the tips with four shorter tees: The Egret/Heron plays to 7,017 yards, 74.2/140, course/slope ratings; the Heron/Ibis, 6,961 yards, 73.7/140; and the Ibis/Egret, 6,944 yards, 73.9/140, designed by Fred Couples.
