Patriot Hills is off the Palisades at Willow Grove Road to the east in Stony Point, which is a little over an hour from the city.

The course climbs over the side of a mountain with views of the Hudson Valley throughout the round. It's a parkland-style design along isolated, tree-lined fairways providing several elevated tees with 100+ feet drops to the fairways. There's an abundance of sand traps of all shapes and sizes at the landing areas and guarding the contoured greens, but only one pond is potentially in play. From the tips the course is a par of 71 at 6,485 yards, 70.4/134 course/slope ratings and three shorter tees, designed by Rick Jacobson.
