Rivers Edge is on the near northwest side of downtown Bend west of the Deschutes River off US 20 to the west.

The course is a challenging layout journeying along fir and pine, tree lined fairways bordered by rock outcroppings over the rolling topography of the Aubrey Butte and along the Deschutes River with views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Jefferson. There's a number of elevated tees and greens, water features on 13 holes, and sand bunkers defending the modest, contoured and undulating greens. It was designed by Robert Muir Graves and plays to 6,683 yards, 72.4/137, course/slope ratings from the blue tees with three shorter tees.
