The Colleton River Club is off Hilton Head to the west on a 1,500-acre private peninsula and is open to guests of their stay-and-play program.

The Club is comprised of a Jack Nicklaus and Pete Dye-designed 36 holes of golf along with a 6-hole \Par 3 course by Bruce Borland and an extensive practice facility including driving ranges, putting greens, chipping greens, and practice bunkers. Both courses move through the Low Country forests and wetlands of the Colleton River. The Nicklaus course has tees from 5,055 to 7.085 yards, with the White tees at 6,175 yards, 70.3/128, course/slope ratings. The Dye Course, which was the venue for the movie "The Legend of Bagger Vance" has tees from 5,080 to 7,403 yards, the White tees play to 6,109 yards, 76.6/149, course/slope.
