The Old South Golf Links is located west of Hilton Head off US 278 adjacent to Hilton Head National.

Old South is lined with oak trees meandering over rolling hills in a scenic setting along wetlands and marshes. It's a minimalist design without disturbing much of the land and provides for a variety of holes from parkland style to those along the intracoastal marshes of McKay’s Creek. It's akin to playing in a wildlife sanctuary and is very entertaining with a number of forced carries but is overall most playable. There's five sets of tees overall, the tips play to 6,772 yards, 72.4/129, course/slope ratings, designed by Clyde Johnson.
