Spanish Bay is part of the Pebble Beach rota of courses and located on 17 Mile Drive between Pebble Beach and Pacific Grove.

The layout is a combination of links holes along the sandy wasteland of the Pacific on the front nine while the backside is along tree lined fairways with ice plant at the fairways borders. There's a generous amount of conventional and pot sand bunkers scattered about the fairways and defending the greens yet only one water hazard in play. From the back tees it's 6,821 yards, 74.0/140, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., Tom Watson, and Sandy Tatum in 1987.
